To instill a strong sense of morality in our students, we adopt a holistic affective programme based on the ‘CHARACTER FIRST!‘ Education Series produced by Character Training Institute in Oklahoma. We enhance character development through an integrated approach with emphasis on the values of self-discipline, integrity, respect, empathy and leadership.

Our Co-Curricular Programme and Pastoral Care Programme are tailored to cater for students’ physical development and emotional well being. Under the care of our professionally trained staff, our students’ well being is never compromised.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS

Affective Programme is a programme designed to inculcate inward motivation to do what is right, discern who an individual is, even nobody is watching. A disposition which is a key to true success in every area of life. “Character First”: towards building factual concern, appreciation and difference.

Young people around the world are increasingly affected by violence, social problems and lack of respect for each other and the world around them. Pupils are encouraged to reflect on their behaviour in the light of these. They are helped to understand that if they can think carefully, then their behaviour will be more positive and the quality of their learning will be enhanced.
