SECONDARY SCHOOL (12-16 YEARS OLD)

Over a period of 4 years the learning journey is divided into two stages:

At Stage 1 (Sec 1 & 2) , students will be exposed to a broad and general curriculum that will permit them to explore particular fields of study that they find appealing.

At Stage 2 (Sec 3 & 4) , students will embark on a sustained and in-depth study of their area of specialisation, while they prepare to sit for GCE ‘O’ Level examination at the end of the fourth academic year.

GENERAL CERTIFICATE OF EDUCATION

The Singapore – Cambridge General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level and Advanced Level Examinations (GCE ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level) are examinations which are set by both the Ministry of Education and the University of Cambridge.

GCE O Level is taken at the end of Secondary 4, after their secondary education, while the GCE A Level is taken at the end of Junior College 2.

The GCE certificate is very prestigious and is well recognized by universities and employees worldwide.
