on 3 December 2010, after celebrating Christmas at a time marked the end of term 2, SNA deliver aid in the form of food packages to victims of natural disasters Mount Merapi and the Mentawai through Indonesian Red Cross branch surabaya. submitted directly by the SNA manager, Ms. Sophy Alim, SNA headmaster, mr. Yeo and student representatives.

A very warm greeting to you!   Singapore National Academy (International School) is very privileged to have Dr Ernest Wong’s visit, the founder and master trainer of Learning Mastery, the most sought after coach and trainer who have spent 25 years successfully mentoring students, teachers and principals both locally and overseas.

Since 1985, Dr Ernest Wong has been a success coach to many Super-Teens™, effectively training them to score ‘A’s in their examinations and realize their goals in life. His students have gone on to prestigious universities such as Cambridge, Oxford, Princeton, University College of London, London School of Economics, National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University Singapore.

Dr Ernest Wong is the 1st and only Asian to receive the Prestigious Golden Apple Award from the founder of the Foundation of Self-Esteem in California, USA, Dr Jack Canfield, in recognition for his contributions towards Excellence in Education.

Dr Ernest Wong will be giving an EDUCATION SEMINAR to ALL parents of Singapore National Academy (International School) on SATURDAY 23 OCT 2010, 0930h – 11.30h.  His seminar will help parents to teach their children skills which allow the children to

• - Be interested in their studies
• - Be motivated to doing and completing things on their own
• - Manage and plan out their time
• - Boosting confidence and self-esteem
• - Improve communication and relationship

In addition, Dr Ernest Wong will give parents a glimpse on skills he teaches students so they will find that exam is just a game, and with the right skills and techniques, they can win easily.   Once students have mastered Dr Ernst Wong’s set of learning skills, exams will be simple, and studying can be fun!

Dear Parent,

Thank you very much for all your support and generous donation towards our Independence Day Charity Bazaar charity drive held on 18 August 2010. Your kind gesture and generosity has certainly impacted the students’ learning beyond the four walls of the classrooms. The students sold the donated groceries at very low prices to the less fortunate people in Sidoarjo. I hope that this donation may bring some joy to them.
